The Door Hollow Shortline’s first setup was at the 2005 Big Train Show in Long Beach. We were assigned a spot in the Wharfside area of the Queen Mary where a crew of friends from Mylargescale.com were there to help us unload and set up.

The show has ended and the layout was well received. It was a good experience. We’ll do it again.

The whole layout and all the trains barely fit into the old Aerostar. This was the last time that would happen. Growth was about to happen and force us into a new vehicle and a trailer.
